This race seems to have become of increased importance as many of the Spring campaigners look to have a windfall often after missing out on their main aims over the carnival. We see a great horse like Avilius trying to make amends for another disappointing Cup, but then again he is not a horse that looks to run out a strong 2 miles especially carrying his fair share of weight. Again dosages tell us a tale of the race and we see that past winners are likely to have a DI that is under 1.10. Lord Belvedere, Attorney and Princess Jenni are in this range this year, but I think Lord Belvedere looks best suited. The other ranges that we see winners in around 1.50, and of course Zipping whose name the race now carries, who had a DI of 2.25. There are no Zippings in the race this year, and Avilius and Brimham Rocks are a little far away. This leaves Future Score as another with a chance and he should run well. I thing that the winner is likely to come from him, or Lord Belvedere.
