The Sandown Guineas is close to finishing off the Spring for many of the 3yo's. It is always an interesting race on an unusual track which seems to have some interesting dosage results. Recent history tells us that the most common range for winners is in the 3.20 to 3.75 range which is probably a little of a surprise as I would have thought at this time that it would have been a bit lower. We have seen a couple of winners in essentially in the 2.00 to 3.00 range, but presumably all of the likely staying 3yo's have already campaigned into the Derby. Even though she is lightly raced, and at big odds, I think that the filly, Valanetti might give a sight. We have three recent winners with a Di above 5.00 which is unexpected, but it certainly brings in the two main chances in Aysar and Sweet Reply and likely the winner will come from these two.
