The Blue Diamond is always a competitive race and this year's field looks like it might have some quality about it that can sometimes be a little lacking. When we look at past history of the race, we come down to two main chances in Anamoe and Enthaar. Both I think could be absolutely outstanding although in this race I am leaning towards Anamoe and not just because of his price. His profile is very similar to that of Tagaloa who won the race last year. Enthaar is a strong chance, but I think her dosage profile is better suited to the Golden Slipper. Maybe it is the track at Caulfield but the last winner with a dosage like Enthaar to win was Extreme Choice in 2016.
